Earth Scene NESR is estimated by taking the standard deviation of the difference between the Calibrated Radiances and PC filtered Calibrated Radiances.

NESR estimated based on std dev of a cal ref blackbody (HBB or ABB) will be impacted by any temperature changes of the body in the period of assessment.
