Regarding Test Flight 2017031. The attached zip file contains plots of the S-HIS brightness temperature spectra and a corresponding window channel map for each of the 30 minute "rsh" files collected for this flight. These were processed by RayG as separate rsh files. The results look good and confirm that the S-HIS instrument is producing good data. There are 17 Earth fields of view in the cross-track scan in the processed output data. Ray says there should be 19 Earth FOVs but the extreme scan angles are being rejected for some reason. This appears to be a ground-processing issue which he is working.
